Steve Cohen created, organized and operated some of the earliest U.S. historic road racing series in the 1970s with races run at the Watkins Glen Grand Prix, Pocono, Road America, Mid-Ohio and Lime Rock, the latter evolving into the Lime Rock Fall Festival with track manager Jim Haynes. Cohen won many of these events in a Porsche 907 and went on to compete in IMSA GTO, GTX and GTP during the ’70s and ’80s. In more recent times, Steve has driven the ’96 Daytona 24 winning Brix Olds Aurora to victory in the HSR 4 Hours of Sebring with Ted Wenz and Randy Pobst. He still competes in historic races.
