Oriol Servia

Raced karts near his home in Catalonia, Spain, until he was 19 before trying Formula 3, his best finish being fourth in the French F3 Championship in ’96. Two years later, he was driving Indy Lights for Dorricott Racing, taking the ’99 series championship without winning a race. He joined the CART circuit in ’00 and was named Rookie of the Year, driving for PPI Motorsports. The nickname “Suitcase” might fit Servia who has changed teams 13 times through ’12. Despite moving around, he has had excellent championship results, finishing second in ’05 and fourth in ’11, both times driving for Newman/Haas. For ’13, he will start his second season with Panther/Dreyer Reinbold
