1972 RRDC Mark Donohue Award winner. ’77 SCCA President’s Cup winner. Seven SCCA National Championship Runoffs victories: Formula Vee (’72), Formula Ford (’77; ’79, ’81 and ’87), Formula Continental (’92 and ’98). American Formula Ford Assn Champion (’77, ’79 and ’83). Competed in ’85 Formula Ford Race of Champions at British Grand Prix. Has also raced IMSA GTP and GTU. Has scored 187 pro and SCCA National race wins with 55 track records set since ’68. Was the development driver for the SCCA Spec Renault (now Spec Racer Ford). Dave’s wife Sherrie is a “Friend of the RRDC”.
